Things come and go. That's the way life is. It's important to document what happens, especially the stuff that's gone
in a flash.
What
used to be the Audart Gallery, on the street level of 60 Broad Street, at
the back, is now a fancy retail chocolate store. But, I remember the
first chocolate that was ever displayed in the space. It was Ultra Violet's
"Politically Incorrect" chocolate
installation, for "Ten Years After: The Warhol Factory" exhibition. That
was back in the winter of 1997. I never had a show at Audart
but everytime I dropped by, everyone was nice to me and took a real interest
in my sculpture. Things come and go. I was happy to find this
website.
Thanks Audart.
