Joe DeMarco has been called the ultimate recycler.  Junk yards and heaps of twisted metal provide fertile ground for his imagination, as he chooses discarded, often implausible, objects for his sculptures and mixed media pieces.  DeMarco's work, for those who appreciate Art Brut, or Outsider Art, is highly collectible and has made its way into many private and public collections.  

Joe DeMarco has exhibited his sculpture in the "27th Annual Connecticut Juried Artists Exhibition"; and he had his own show at Southern Connecticut State University.  He also captured best show in the "Celebrate West Hartford Arts and Crafts Show" and his work has been exhibited in galleries in Connecticut and New York city, including "Art in the Raw" at the Audart Gallery, in 1997.
