Audart Gallery, Granath by Timothy Young, The Art & Technology Circus

Granath is the life-size puppet, created and brought to life by Timothy Young. Dressed in white satin and carrying a staff, Granath charmed Audart audiences with his wisdom and humor, on the opening night of "The Art & Technology Circus". Granath held court in "The Forest of Arragaon", an installation created by Timothy Young for the Circus.

Timothy Young graduated with a BFA in Theater Arts, from Francis Marion Univerisity in Florence, South Carolina, where he majored in Acting and Minored in Three-Dimensional Sculpture. He also attended the Oxford School of Drama as a Student of Professional Acting Studies in the Summer of 1996. Young is Director and Creator of a not-for-profit theater. He has exhibited and performed in numerous art galleries in the New York City area. He is also a guest artist and lecturer in public schools, for the promotion of reading, writing and the visual arts.
