Sean
Marr is a Brooklyn based photographer, painter and collage artist. As
a photographer, he takes most of his pictures during the brief moments that
precede nightfall or daybreak, or in the interludes before electrical storms
when natural light seems haunted. His most recent body of work is comprised
of photographs of people sleeping, often in unexpected or implausible places
and situations. He is also a working architect who specializes in designing
fantasy or "getaway" homes for his clients. He divides his time between
New York, Los Angeles and Toronto, Canada.
Sean Marr did not exhibit his photographs at the Audart Gallery but will participate in future exhibitions at Audart and Art-is-Life, in New York and in Toronto. |
