Karen Santry's avant garde
paintings reflect her interest and training in haute couture.
She exhibited a number of her paintings in Audart's "Shrines to Fantasy" exhibition, creating a room-sized
installation which included her giant "Golden Girls" cutouts.
Santry's work has been exhibited extensively, both nationally and internationally,
at the Solomon Guggenheim, the Whitney Museum Store Gallery, the New Museum
of Contemporary Art, the Smithsonian Institute, European and Japanese museums
and numerous art galleries in the United States and abroad.
